Yoga has been a great passion for most of my adult life and has been my profession since 1999. I see yoga practice as an incredibly efficient vehicle for vibrant good health on all levels of being, and wholeheartedly believe in the simple, profound power of breath and movement, stillness and silence. When combined with intention, attention, courage and perseverance I’ve found this recipe awakens people to vibrant vitality, strength and serenity, clarity and confidence, and the possibility of deeply enjoying their experience of being alive. My positive energy is contagious; my style is soulful, poetic and philosophical; my sequencing is intelligent and creative, and my instruction is detailed and precise with vivid imagery and occasional laughter.
At age 17 I was in a near-fatal car accident that left me with broken bones, injured organs and rendered unconscious for days. A few years later I found my way into my first yoga class. Through consistent practice my body, heart and spirit began to profoundly heal. I would say that yoga saved my life and feel it is the privilege and honor of a lifetime to employ this practice to bring others back to life.
